Kiwi Juice Production Line Workflow:

1. Washing

After harvesting, kiwifruit usually carries soil, dust, and other impurities accumulated during transportation. This kiwi juice processing line first uses a washing machine for pretreatment, thoroughly cleaning the dirt from the surface of the kiwifruit to ensure hygiene and safety in subsequent processing.

2. Peeling

Kiwi fruit peel contains a significant amount of dietary fiber and bitter substances; therefore, it needs to be peeled before juice processing. Using an efficient peeling machine prevents the kiwi peel from entering the juice, reducing the difficulty of subsequent filtration.

3. Crushing

The peeled kiwifruit is initially crushed by a crushing machine, turning the pulp into a fine, pulpy mass.

4. Extracting the juice

Kiwifruit contains many seeds, fiber, and a significant amount of viscous pectin. Therefore, the juice needs to be filtered after extraction to obtain high-quality kiwifruit juice.

5. Degassing

The degasser quickly removes air through a vacuum environment, improving juice stability and preserving the product’s natural color and flavor.

6. Sterilization

To ensure product hygiene and safety, the kiwi juice production line utilizes a high-temperature short-time sterilization process, which kills most microorganisms while preserving the nutrients and fresh taste of the fruit juice.

7. Filling and packaging

The sterilized juice can be directly transferred to an aseptic filling machine for packaging.  Various packaging options are available depending on requirements.
