Description

NFC orange juice, or not-from-concentrate orange juice, is made directly from fresh oranges through a process of juicing and pasteurization. Unlike concentrated juice, NFC orange juice does not undergo the concentration or reduction steps during processing, preserving the natural flavor, taste, and nutrients of the orange to the greatest extent possible.

NFC Orange Juice Processing:

The orange juice production line is designed based on the principles of “reducing processing steps, minimizing nutrient loss, and maintaining flavor stability.” The standard process is as follows:

Oranges → Washing → Juicing → Vacuum Degassing → Sterilization → Filling

Main Orange Juice Processing Machine:

1. Washing machine: After entering the production line, oranges are first washed twice by a brush washer and a bubble washer. The soft brushes of the brush machine remove sand and impurities from the surface of the oranges. The external spray system further rinses the oranges to ensure a clean and hygienic surface.

2. Juicing machine: Use a half-roller juicer to cut the oranges in half and squeeze the juice. This method avoids excessive rupture of the peel oil glands and reduces the amount of bitter substances entering the juice, thus ensuring a pure taste.

3. Vacuum degasser: Freshly squeezed orange juice contains a certain amount of dissolved air, which can easily lead to oxidation, discoloration, and flavor loss. The vacuum degasser quickly removes air from the orange juice at low temperatures, preserving the color and aroma of the juice. The vacuum degree is usually -0.08 to -0.0906 MPa.

4. Sterilizer: Use pasteurization to effectively kill microorganisms in orange juice, extend the shelf life of the product, and retain the nutritional components of the orange juice to the greatest extent.

5. Filling machine: The sterilized orange juice quickly enters the aseptic filling system and is packaged in glass bottles, PET bottles or aseptic bags to ensure quality stability under room temperature or refrigerated conditions.
