Iran is one of the main producers of pomegranates. This customer from Iran is also a pomegranate grower. In previous years, after harvesting, most of the pomegranates were sold locally or packaged and exported to other countries. However, the export standards for pomegranates are strict: if the fruit’s shape, appearance, size, and color do not meet the requirements, they are rejected. Although these rejected pomegranates are still fresh and sweet, they cannot be exported and are often sold at very low prices or even discarded, resulting in wasted resources.
To reduce waste and increase the added value of pomegranates, this Iran customer decided to further process the pomegranates that did not meet quality standards, transforming them into pomegranate juice for sale. This effectively reduced waste.
After clarifying the customer’s needs, we recommended a pomegranate juicing machine. This device can directly peel and juice the pomegranates, making the entire process efficient, hygienic, and easy to operate. After processing by the machine, the pomegranate peel and juice are automatically separated, and then filtered to produce clear, fresh pomegranate juice.
