We recently partnered with a Vietnam beverage manufacturer to supply a fruit washing line. The client specializes in the R&D and production of natural fruit and vegetable beverages, utilizing fresh produce as raw materials. As market demand grows, their existing washing methods could no longer meet the increasingly stringent requirements for production efficiency. Consequently, the client sought to optimize their raw material processing workflow and boost overall production capacity by introducing new fruit washing equipment.

Vietnam fruit washing line

The Vietnam client explicitly stated that the fruit washing line is being procured primarily to complement their existing beverage production line. Given the emphasis on the natural and fresh qualities of the beverage products, there are stringent requirements regarding the cleanliness of the raw fruit and the efficiency of the processing. A stable and efficient pre-processing stage not only impacts the operational efficiency of subsequent steps—such as juice extraction and pulping—but also directly influences the quality of the final beverage.

Based on the client’s current production operations, we understand that they need to process a wide variety of fruits, primarily including apples, kiwifruits, oranges, mandarins, and lemons. These fruits differ in shape, skin structure, and surface contaminants; for instance, apples and citrus fruits may have dust, soil, or impurities accumulated during transport, while kiwifruits feature fine surface fuzz that requires an appropriate cleaning method. Consequently, the client is concerned not only with the equipment’s cleaning performance but also with its versatility, seeking a system capable of handling multiple fruit types within a single production line.

Taking into account the specific characteristics of the raw materials and the production requirements of our Vietnamese client, we designed a fruit washing solution tailored for their beverage processing plant. The washing line is engineered for continuous operation, high efficiency, and gentle handling; it effectively removes surface impurities while preserving the integrity of the fruit, thereby providing clean raw materials for subsequent processing stages.

The core of this system features a high-efficiency washing unit that utilizes water circulation, tumbling, and spraying to ensure the fruit makes full contact with the water during transport, achieving comprehensive cleaning. Furthermore, the equipment design has been specifically tailored to the characteristics of different fruit varieties; this prevents bruising or damage during the washing process, thereby preserving the quality of the raw materials.

The Vietnamese client required a production capacity of 1 ton per hour. To meet this requirement, we carefully planned aspects such as equipment configuration, conveying speed, and the length of the washing zone, ensuring the entire production line operates continuously and stably while satisfying the raw material supply needs of the client’s existing beverage production line.Following multiple rounds of technical discussions and proposal refinements, we finalized a fruit washing line configuration that met the client’s requirements. The client expressed satisfaction with our equipment proposal, technical support, and comprehensive solution, ultimately leading to a partnership.
